Is the Ski The East Store a secure online store?

Absolutely. To ensure maximum security, the Ski The East Store uses a 128 bit SSL certificate, the same encryption device that many online banks use. We do not store credit card or personal data. Your information is only used to complete your most recent purchase. For further assurance, you will notice an "s" added to the beginning of the web address ("https://") from the moment you click the "checkout button" (regardless of whether or not you follow through with your purchase). This signifies that you are browsing on a secure platform.

What credit cards do you accept?

Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover.

I don't feel comfortable giving out credit card information over the web. Is there another way I can pay for an order?

Phone orders: Please call 802-871-5133 to place an order by phone. Once your order is confirmed, you can then provide your credit card information or mail your payment via personal check. You will be emailed an automated receipt once your payment clears.

Email orders: Please email your order details to ski@skitheeast.net. We will respond with a confirmation email containing an invoice. Once your confirmation email is received, you can then mail your payment via personal check. You will be emailed an automated receipt once your payment clears.

Your order will typically ship within 48 hours of your payment clearing.

When do products ship after I place my order?

Your order will typically ship within 3-5 business days of your payment clearing. Powder days do happen and may cause a slight delay in your order.

What carrier do you use to ship?

Your order through the Ski The East store is shipped via the United States Postal Service using Priority Mail:

Please factor an additional 3-5 business days into the Priority shipping time to account for order processing.

• Priority Mail* - 2-3 days guranteed anywhere in the United States. International orders typically take at least one (1) week to arrive, and sometimes more depending on location. On occasion, packages will be held at Customs for an undetermined amount of time.

*If you only order 2 or less Sticker Packs, the checkout will automatically switch your shipping cost to a flat rate of $1 for a small envelope, plus a $2 handling fee. This makes small quantities of stickers more affordable. Sweet.

How does the Ski The East Store calculate shipping and handling costs?

Ski The East calculates shipping costs directly through the United States Postal Service (USPS)*. All shipping costs are quoted directly through USPS using their online shipping calculations based on weight, size, and zip code. Our handling charge is $2 per order, no matter what size. This covers our expense of shipping containers as well as our time sorting, packing, and transporting the order for shipment.

* If you only order 2 or less Sticker Packs then your order will automatically be shipped via USPS for a flat rate of $1 plus our standard $2 handling fee.

Are there any limits to your shipping destinations?

The Ski The East Store shipments are limited to destinations within the USPS delivery area. We do ship globally, but unfortunately, not all international orders can be processed through our checkout. You should be notified if your order is unable to be completed because of these limitations. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience.

A Product in the Ski The East Store is labeled "Sold Out." When will it be in stock?

Products that are "sold out" may or may not be restocked in the future. We will do our best to keep our customers informed of new products, discontinued products, reorders of currently "sold out" products, and any other sales or special offers via the Ski The East website and Ski The East email listserve.

How can I be sure the merchandise I'm buying is of good quality?

Ski The East and the Ski The East Store only sell merchandise that we are proud to be offering and that we would wear or use ourselves. If you have any questions regarding more specific information on a product than what is listed in the Ski The East Store, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Can I buy a gift certificate to the Ski The East Store?

As of now, gift certificates are not offered for the Ski The East Store. However, we are trying to make this feature available for our customers in summer 2010.
