Ski The East Superpark: The Finale

All good things must come to an end and the Ski The East Superpark was winding down by our final day on Sunday April 28. Four straight days of sun had left most everyone with raccoon eyes, chapped lips, and few sore muscles. However, spirits were high after the sweet session on the big jump the day before and a bluebird day motivated everyone to give 'er one more time.
Day Franzen's creative mind and administrative arm-twisting had given birth to our final feature: The Wrecking Ball. One part construction site, one part jib, the wrecking ball was a fiberglass globe used regularly in Carinthia parks. Instead of sticking in the snow as normal though, Franzen flipped it upside down, hung it by a chain and lifted the whole thing up with a giant excavator. It was a little freaky going full speed into a wrecking ball but the crew slowly warmed up to it and by late morning bangers were beginning to be laid down.

After lunch we headed back to the step up one last time and had some fun with Bully Buck, the deer. Lupe Hagearty (VT) about to lay the smackdown...
Surprisingly, the deer did not budge even when Vincent did his best to startle it
Sam Zahner (NJ) doing his best impression of the "animal anal sniff" just to make sure he's located the right doe
