STEFT 3: Jay Peak Extreme Competition

FWT qualification is on the line this weekend at Jay Peak

Words by: Alex Kaufman l STE Online Editor

While no one is exactly sure what in the Lord's name is going on weatherwise here in the East (what month is it?), everyone can be sure that the place to be for this St. Patricks Day weekend will be Jay Peak Resort for the 3rd (and likely final) stop of the Ski The East Freeride Tour. Whether this is your first event or you're battling for the qualificaton into the Freeskiing World Tour, the Jay Peak gang is always welcoming.

Updated STEFT Standings

The forecast for the weekend is balmy (with lots of sun) and event organizers are keeping a keen eye on the snowpack for course location decisions. The Face Chutes are being monitored carefully in regards to Sunday's finals. Any updates will be available via the Ski The East Freeride Tour Facebook page and/or announced at registration.

MRG Update

The Mad River Glen stop on March 25th is, at this time, kaput. If the snow gods get over their tissyfit then anything could happen, but right now the forecast is for the tissyfit to continue.
