Winter Butt Dials The East!

It doesn't mean much, but it still feels good.

A couple of weeks ago we broke up. The connection looked strong back in early March when she was seemingly committed to a long-term relationship. Then things went sour. She took all of her love west and kept it there. After a few weeks of waiting, hoping for her return we had accepted that this relationship was going nowhere and we might as well try to hook up with Spring.

We know it's in vain, but it still feels good for the phone to ring.

In recent hours it’s become very clear that Winter has butt dialed the East Coast. No she doesn’t really care about us. And no we’re not getting back together. But for just a little while, we can listen to the sound of Winter’s pocket while she carries on a conversation with some other part of the globe that’s in her future.

The relationship’s over, but we’re still in her phone. We can also hope for a potential drunk dial in the next week. Somebody buy her some shots! If that happens you can hang out with her in the weather center.

While we’re enjoying the inadvertent sound of winter’s pocket, a number of ski areas have taken the unprecedented step of making snow.

They've even gone so far as to say things like this to the media: "It's not over till we say it's over type of statement from every spokesperson around," said Johnny Spokesperson. "Then additionally newsworthy statement about commitment to quality, guest experience and delivering snow all season here." Concluded spokesperson with mention of next year's season passes.

Sometimes a butt dial is all it takes to get us fired up. Screw it - let's go skiing!
