Feb 4-5 Aerial Pics of VT and NY

On a recent rountrip from BTV to JFK I was granted clear views of the terrain below. I also happened to be on the flight (both ways) with VT Governor Peter Shumlin. I asked for an interview on the trip to JFK and got declined, but was able to do the deed in the waiting area at JFK prior to the return flight. That'll be dropping on STE in the coming weeks. Taking off from BTV and looking north over Lake Champlain, Colchester Point and Grand Isle.

Turning to the south gave a nice view of Whiteface to the west.

The Adirondacks don't look quite so large from 19,000 feet. Whiteface far right.

Shipping lanes south of Long Island as I start the return trip.

That's Rutland, Killington and Pico right of the wing. Presidentials left of it.
