Ski The East Freeride Tour: Mad River Glen Cancelled

Mother Nature seems to think enough is enough of the Ski The East Freeride Tour and casted a wicked pissah of a heatwave through the East Coast while sprinkling rain in for good measure. It is with the beach weather forecast in hand and some back-and-forth between the good people at Mad River Glen that we have decided to cancel the last stop of the tour set to go down this weekend. We'd like to thank everyone that came out for the first year of the tour. Whether you made it to one, two, or all three, we greatly appreciate all of feedback and absolute slaying. The tour organizers are going to convene this evening to determine how the overall standings will be affected and to make sure our calculations are correct so that we can crown the first ever Ski The East Champion. *Note* If it's any consolation, we hear there are some wicked awesome gaper days going down this weekend.

UPDATE: Mad River Glen will be making the official call regarding the Triple Crown Final tomorrow morning.
