BOOYAH! The Pow-Funk just KARATE-chopped the shit out of some stripes... now they are broken. The Pow-Funk is built for the creative side of riding, the type of riding where the rider doesn't leave just tracks, but his own signature. No terrain is safe from the Pow-Funk or from his buttery wake. The Pow-Funk has the skills and the hunger to get into the backcountry… but he's not here to break a big sweat. Rather, the Pow-Funk ventures into the slackcountry, where the limitless variety of features and terrain quench the Pow-Funk's creative thirst. The Pow-Funk sucks at doing laundry, forgets to eat meals, and usually stinks like a skunk. But on the mountain no one rides longer, laughs harder, or sticks his shit like the Pow-Funk.

Like the Bellows, the Pow-Funk offers a roomier fit than a traditional alpinist shell. Designed for all-mountain performance, uninhibited full range of motion is the first priority, and a relaxed fit ensures optimal comfort for long days on the hill.

TECHNOLOGY

Gelanots® The next generation of fabric.

Our Gelanots® fabric is superior to other 3-layer laminate fabrics in that it combines a highly WATERPROOF and BREATHABLE membrane with an uncompromisingly DURABLE face fabric.

• 20,000 mm WATERPROOF / BREATHABLE

Durability means Sustainability:
We build our products to last lifetimes not pile-up in landfills.

Most technical shells feature 40 denier fabrics. Our burly 70 by 140 denier Gelanots® fabric is a tear-resistant, rugged fabric intended for heavy outdoor use. Under this heavy face-fabric, the Gelanots® membrane has extremely durable attributes of its own: the non-porous membrane actually has high stretch ability that, unlike traditional membranes, resists tearing and remains waterproof even when stressed.

We place special emphasis on the durability of our fabric. A garment's performance only matters if it lasts.

Breathable

Gelanots® laminates are part of the new generation of "smart" fabrics. The membrane adapts to the temperature changes in your body; as your body temperature rises the spaces between the molecules increase allowing the heat generated by your body to escape.

Waterproof

The smooth filament and tight construction allow our fabric to shed Northwest slush with ease. The non-porous membrane remains waterproof even when stretched and stressed, and will remain waterproof through countless seasons of heavy use. We also apply a DWR finish to the surface of the fabric, which provides superior water repellency, protects the breathability of the fabric, and resists stains.

Comfortable

We incorporate a brushed Nylon Tricot backing to our fabric that adds warmth and comfort uncommon to high-performance hard shells. The backing of the fabric also adds to the durability of the fabric by protecting the membrane from wear and tear.
